"DMT

In this second book of The Raven & The Iris trilogy, summer’s languid sensuality has given way to the cold, hard facts of autumn. Vincent can’t bring himself to arrest Angelique for “the theft of the century,” but he can’t forgive her for it, either. As Fernwall settles in for another long, cold winter, he’s flung himself into a life of cheap booze and rented sex, desperately trying to escape the lies he can’t change, and the truths he can’t ignore.

Raven’s Lair

Friends Like Gianni

Zephyr is a bard in exile, wanted for a murder she didn’t commit, hiding in the worst part of a port city because the worst part is where she still has friends. Gianni Prutech is one of them — crude, brutally honest, and operating by a code of ethics only he fully understands. Neither trustworthy nor entirely without honor, he’s exactly the right person to have in your corner when bounty hunters come calling. Friends Like Gianni is a sharp, darkly comic short story set in the World of Menelon: one night in a dockside tavern that strips two people down to their worst and their best, and leaves neither quite where they started.
