The southernmost duchy in Cascadia, Asbury's geography features mountainous terrain in the north, which falls steadily to the great lowlands and then to the Endlingen Fens. It is bordered by the duchies of Winchester and Perrault to the north, and the Great Southern Sea to the south.

It is a fertile land with a moderate climate, and is characterized by rolling hills that are thoroughly cultivated in orchards and vineyards.

The duchy was the birthplace of Angela Rose Corwin, who later became Lady Angelique Blakesly. As her origins are revealed in Dead Man's Trigger, nothing more will be posted here about Asbury until after the trilogy is completed.
