Princess Nadeera Ashoä M’latti Nerafahn

Cut text from Dead Man's Trigger:

Ten years after her death, her grand-daughter ascended the Cascadian royal throne as Queen Kherolyn, holding power in her own right. Nadeera's influence had won the Winslows a measure of popularity among the nobility and nothing short of adoration from the populace of the capital city. The ties between the Winslows and the Nerafahn clan that Nadeera's marriage had forged were one of the biggest factors in Cascadia's early entry into the Great War.

Little known fact:

Nadeera's time was marked by outbreaks of plague, and she spearheaded massive fund-raising efforts to provide nursing and care for all those afflicted in the royal cities of Cascadia, and in the extensive Caspian Valley. Three of the hospitals still operating in Fernwall as of MCY 580  were founded by the princess, who worked tirelessly to see them all properly staffed and supplied.
