King Charles VII

Deposed in 547 CE as king of Cascadia. Also known as Mad King Charlie or just Crazy Charlie.

In short, some members of the previous two generations of his family had been showing signs of mental instability, but Charles cracked completely under the strain of rulership. His debauched orgies and theatricals eventually caused great unrest among the people of the Caspian Valley. Before they could break into open revolution, a group of lords banded together to overthrow the king in what became known as The Lords' Rebellion of 547 CE.

Charles' son, Edward IV, reclaims the Cascadian throne in 586 CE and reinstates a constitutional monarchy.
